Why We Built This Site
Minnesota gives the public broad access to many court records, but Lyon County users still have to sort out which office or portal fits the record. Lyon County District Court and its Court Administrator handle case files, calendars, certified court copies, traffic cases, divorce files, probate matters, and criminal court records. The Lyon County Sheriff's Office handles jail custody information and law-enforcement data requests. The Lyon County Recorder handles marriage certificates and marriage licenses.
